Office of Alumni Relations provides former students with opportunities to stay connected with the University and benefit from various resources at their disposal. Membership in VioletNet gives students access to contact information of other NYU alumni, discounts on AVIS Rental Car and online access to NYU Libraries.
Wasserman’s Center Alumni Services
Wasserman Center at NYU offers various career-related services to NYU alumni. CareerNet hosts job listings, and you can register by contacting the Wasserman Center’s reception desk in person or by phone at 212-998-4730 during office hours. Basic access is free and upgrades are available.
Another great resource for NYU alumni is Career Development Listserv. It is free to join, and by subscribing, you will start receiving job postings, information on special alumni-only events, and tips on career management and professional development strategies. To sign up, send a blank email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mentor Network Program
The Center Mentor Network helps NYU students explore careers by linking them with alumni and other professionals in a variety of fields who generously contribute their time and expertise. The program allows students an "inside look" at career options through informational interviewing, networking, and observation. Alumni’s participation is indispensable to the success of the program.
