Congratulations to CLACS MA student Alía Warsco (‘25) for her work on creating Runakunaq Bibliotecanku (The People’s Library), a collection of Quechua and Andean-centered materials.

Faculty News

Faculty member and Quechua instructor Odi Gonzales has published the book Nación Anti. Ensayos de antropología lingüística andina. Lenguaje y pensamiento quechua. Traducción cultural y resistencia (Pakarina, 2022).

CLACS and NYU History faculty member Ada Ferrer was awarded a Pulitzer Prize in History for the book Cuba: An American History (Scribner, 2022). 

As part of her work with Jaden Timoun, CLACS and Haitian Creole instructor Wynnie Lamour-Quansah released the children's book Verite sou Tanbou nan Jaden Timoun: Rakontay Vèdi, a collection of original short stories written in Kreyòl Ayisyen.
